Utilizing strengths to navigate struggles.
There is power in storytelling - we each possess subjective life experiences which create our reality. We tell these stories to ourselves, ultimately making us who we are. As a Therapist, my job is to listen with the intent to understand and help clients build a resilient form of themselves from these unique experiences. The past is merely a window into the future. All we have is now. With this foundation, I work with the goal of guiding individuals, couples, and families in connecting with themselves on a deeper level in order to work through life’s most difficult moments. Whether you are holding onto trauma, pain, family discord, or emotional distress, my job is to help you take control of what is weighing you down.
When we face setbacks, it feels as though we must move on from these struggles - depression, identity confusion, loss, abuse, relational distress. But that isn’t the case. People don’t move on, but rather learn to move through such experiences. This is being human. Even in the chaos of life, there is still peace all around, and you deserve that peace. I hope to be part of my client’s journey in healing, as our growth is not solidified in a single moment. My approach aims to provide clients with the tools necessary in developing a narrative which aligns with their values, while being there to remind each of them that their stories hold immeasurable meaning in understanding the most important part of their lives - themselves.
